A Culinary Evolution in the Heart of Knoxville

Ale' Rae's (pronounced Allie Ray's) has been a household name in the Knoxville Food Truck culinary scene since 2016. We've expanded our presence and are now housed in a landmark building in the historic district of downtown Knoxville. David's two daughters took over operating the food truck as Chef David renovated, built and custom designed his unique rustic intimate setting to the restaurant. Starting out with just a couple other employees they opened the doors to kick off the start of this new journey in November of 2021.

The rustic atmosphere is effortlessly juxtaposed with the cuisine, which boasts traditional local dishes with a contemporary twist. 

At the helm of it all is our multi-talented Chef David and his daughters; Allie and Rachel. They are known for employing innovative, cutting-edge cooking techniques which are used in the meticulous execution of each dish. This feast for the senses is not to be missed.

Where is extra parking?

Overflow parking during the evening hours is located at our surrounding neighbors KCDC & Broadway Carpet across the street. Please do not leave your vehicle overnight in these lots. *Please let us know if you will be leaving your car overnight in OUR parking lot. Thanks!

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, our Beer Garden is open to 4 legged friends! We have plenty of space outside to accommodate your pups!

Where can I find the live music schedule and lineup?

Go to our Events to view the monthly line up and show times for each day of Live Music and Comedy.

What types or styles of music do you host?

We feature bands, artists, and comedians from a wide range of genres and styles. Each week brings a fresh lineup of live music and stand-up comedy—showcasing everything from rock, blues, jazz, and country to a variety of comedic acts. Follow us on AR Fly Society Music Scene for updates on featured performers, bands, and comedians.

Do menu items change often?

Yes and No, there are many staple items on our food, bar and coffee menus but becuase we are a Chef designed and operated pub there will always be new and updated items added throughout the year. Many items based on holidays, celebrated events or seasonal are created and added to the menu regularly.

Are gift cards available?

Yes! We have gift cards available for purchase at the bar!

Where can I inquire to perform?

Apply under the Event page, fill out the form, and indicate that you are a band or comedian inquiring to perform!

Are you family-friendly?

Absolutely! We welcome guests of all ages and offer an in house kids menu. (Comedy shows are regularly 18+ so make sure to check our events!)

Do we show sporting events?

If you haven’t already figured it out, Ale’ Rae’s is home to the #SteelerNation fan club. We host all the games as well as our local Vols events inside & out. If there’s anything inbetween those events we do our best to stay in the loop and have it up on any spare screens! Checkout our events page or socials to find out what’s coming up next.
